Welcome to Miss Hegarty's Kindergarten Classroom!
Welcome to Miss Hegarty's kindergarten classroom at Steck Elementary School! My goal this year is to provide a safe, positive, caring , supportive and stimulating environment in which your children can learn. I will strive to create a classroom where your children feel free to make discoveries, ask questions and make observations without feeling
anxious and encourage them to satisfy their desire for knowledge. My primary focus will be to foster your child's excitement for learning and discovering new things.
I have high academic expectations for my students. I want them to know that I always have confidence in them and that they can be successful if they do their best. I strongly believe that if children are not learning, then I am not teaching and I am dedicated to serving your children to the best of my ability.
I am so excited for the year ahead! Thank you for all of your support and for sharing your children with me!
